Fix error 0x00000bc4 Windows 11 cannot connect to the printer

Windows 11 22H2, the shared printing service has changed from “RPC over Named Pipes” to “RPC over TCP”. According to Microsoft, this change will help improve printer security, as it enforces newer and more secure communication methods.
However, this update causes Windows 11 to not see printers shared from Windows 10, and gives an error: 0x00000bc4 – ERROR_PRINTER_NOT_FOUND
To fix this error do the following:
Open the Windows Registry Editor (open Run, type regedit) and navigate to the:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Printers\RPC
Create a new DWORD-32 bit value named RpcUseNamedPipeProtocol, and set it to 1. (You can download the attached reg file below).

Then restart the client, the problem should be solved.
